Unit 4: The American Revolution

The American Revolution unit is by far my favorite unit! We will start by learning about the French and Indian War. From here, we will be discussing the Boston Massacre and the Boston Tea Party which resulted when many different Acts were passed by Parliament.  The students will be learning about the Declaration of Independence, different battles that were fought during the War, and to the creation of a new nation. We will be using Liberty's Kids to help us learn about the American Revolution.

During this unit, the students will be researching an American Revolution historical figure. The students will be preparing a speech that they will present to the students and parents during the American Revolution night. Students will be dressing as their historical figure.
