Unit 2: Cultures Meet

 Chapter 3 in Unit 2 deals with explorers. In this chapter, students will be learning about Christopher Columbus' voyage. Students will learn about Spanish, French, Dutch, and English explorers.  

 Once we get to Chapter 4, we will be learning about Spanish colonies. We will also learn about the early English colonies: Virginia Colony and Plymouth Colony. Finally we will learn about French and Dutch colonies.
