Unit C: Physical Science

  Students will be learning about matter. We will be learning about the properties of matter along with changes that occur in matter. We will then move into learning about forces in motion. The students will participate in Veggie Races at the end of the school year. The Veggie Races demonstrate how  forces in motion work. The students will also be learning about changing forms in energy.

  We will also be learning about electricity. Students will be bringing in two double D batteries and a flashlight bulb. The students will demonstrate different ways that electricity flows by participating in experiments.  The students will be learning about simple and complex circuits. More information about supplies for this unit will be coming home during the unit.
