Our classroom participated in the 2008 O.R.E.O. Project this year. This year's project was to see how many Oreo® cookies we could stack before it would fall over. Each student was given two opportunities to stack the Oreo® cookies. At the end of the project, the students learned how to average, in order to determine the average number of cookies we could stack. We also worked on an O.R.E.O. word find and an Oreo® worksheet that dealt with the nutrition label.

Check back in a few days to see what our average stack will be.
